Who we are
Nido is a product of cques LLC, a company registered in Florida, USA. Reach us at nido@cques.ai.
What data we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the app: your email, your name, the names and health information of family members you enter, the medication logs and notes you write, and basic device data (language, country).
How we use your data
We use your data to show you your information, send you medication reminders, and let you invite your family. We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not share with pharmacies, hospitals, or insurers without your explicit permission.
Third-party processors
To run Nido we use third-party processors that handle data only on our behalf: Supabase (database + file storage, US-based), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email like magic links), Sentry (error monitoring), and PostHog (product analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies). When you use the character feature, your photo is sent to fal.ai (AI image generation) to create the illustration and is then discarded. The character we generate is stored on our servers so you can claim it if you create an account; an unclaimed character is deleted within 14 days. For users on the Familia plan who use AI features, Anthropic processes text from your notes and questions, and ElevenLabs synthesizes Spanish/Latin Spanish voice from the daily briefing text. None of them use your data to train their own models.
Who can see your data
Only you and the family members you invite. No one else. Nido is not a social network: your information is not public.
Your rights
You can export your care records anytime from Settings: care recipients, medications and doses, appointments, notes, symptoms, vitals, growth, allergies, vaccinations, doctors, medical events, emergency cards, baby logs, hydration, meals, incidents, tasks, shifts, trips, groceries, events, care expenses, documents and finances. For security, temporary access links and internal audit records are not included; if you need something else, contact us. You can delete your account and its data anytime; this erases your personal and care information (see "Data we keep after deletion" below for the limited records we're required to retain). If you live in California, you have additional rights under the CCPA (we don't sell data, but you can still request access or deletion).
Data we keep after deletion
When you delete your account we permanently remove your personal and care data: medications, appointments, notes, health logs, documents, photos, voice memos, and any character generated from your photo. For legal and security reasons we keep a limited set of records: security audit logs (who accessed what, kept append-only to protect your family), billing records required by tax and accounting law (handled by Stripe), and pseudonymous operational logs of errors and performance with no personal identifiers. There is also one shared case: if you took part in a carpool with other households, that carpool's messages, swaps and schedule entries belong to every family using it. Deleting your account removes your name from those records, but does not delete the carpool's history, because the other families still depend on it. All of this is kept only as long as the law or legitimate needs require, is never used to identify you, and is never shared for marketing.
Storage and security
Your data is stored on servers in the United States (Supabase, hosted on AWS). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest (AES-256) for the database and the files you upload, Row-Level Security on every table so each family only sees their own data, and magic-link sign-in, so a password is optional: if you never set one, there is no password to leak. If you do set one, it is stored hashed and never in plain text.
Not medical advice
Nido helps you coordinate care for your family, but is NOT a substitute for your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. The information in the app is organizational, not clinical. For health decisions, always consult a licensed professional.
Children
If you log information about children under 13, you (as the parent/guardian) accept this policy on their behalf. We do not collect data directly from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll email you. The date above always reflects the last update.
